¿Qué aporta RTLS/RFID a un centro de datos?
Da a los activos y, cuando conviene, a las personas una identidad duradera y eventos de ubicación o custodia con marca de tiempo, para que inventario, cambios y auditorías descansen en el sistema de registro que el equipo ya usa.
¿Funciona en una sala densa en metal?
Sí, cuando radio y tags encajan con el entorno. RFID on-metal, portales bien situados y lecturas manuales de excepción son lo habitual, no la excepción.
¿Sustituimos DCIM o ServiceNow?
No. Diseñamos eventos vendor-neutral hacia los sistemas que ya operáis. El objetivo es un feed fiable — no otro dashboard en el que vivir.
¿Solo para operadores colo?
No. Los mismos problemas aparecen en enterprise, colo e hiperescala: identidad de activos, deriva de inventario, custodia de cambios y pools de repuestos que no cuadran con el CMDB.
