Poland industries we cover

Manufacturing: Polish automotive and industrial corridors, manufacturing and food plants.

Healthcare: public and private healthcare networks.

Logistics and 3PL: container ports (Gdańsk, Gdynia, Szczecin), 3PL networks, e-commerce fulfilment, cold chain.

Defence: defence and public-sector facilities and contractors.

Retail: apparel item-level, grocery DCs, store operations.

Energy and utilities: energy and utilities sites across Poland.

Regulatory and compliance fit

Poland locating programmes have specific regulatory considerations. CE marking under the EU Radio Equipment Directive. Hardware must also respect the ETSI power limits for the band in use. Healthcare data and privacy: GDPR plus Polish data protection law, supervised by UODO, when location feeds touch clinical systems.

Labour Code monitoring rules (Kodeks pracy): employee monitoring must be set out in the work regulations or a collective agreement, with the purpose, scope and method stated and staff informed before it starts. BHP obligations under the Labour Code (PIP enforcement), overlap with lone-worker and restricted-zone deployments.

The krajowy system cyberbezpieczeństwa (KSC) regime and NIS2 as transposed in Poland, increasingly required for public-sector and supply-chain procurements. We design for these in stage 1. See GDPR & RTLS: the employee-tracking question.

Poland suppliers and integrators

Most global RTLS, RFID and AGV/AMR suppliers have Poland presence directly or through resellers and integrators. Suppliers with a strong Poland presence include Impinj, Zebra, Honeywell (RFID); Quuppa, Aruba (BLE-AoA); Sewio, Ubisense (UWB, with Ubisense headquartered in Cambridge); MIR, Geek+ (AMR).

How we engage with Poland clients

Remote scoping engagements run from anywhere. Stage 1 rarely needs on-site visits. For stage 2 (pilot) and stage 3 (production rollout), we visit regularly.

We coordinate with your chosen suppliers and integrators for deployments spanning Poland and continental Europe. Engagements run from 4-week scoping reviews to multi-year programme guidance.

Poland-specific case studies

Programmes span the UK, DACH and wider Europe, the Middle East, North America and APAC (hospital-scale asset and hygiene, automotive WIP, 3PL RAIN, aerospace tool control, item-level retail and more) case studies anonymised by default; references callable with permission.

Specific case studies are anonymised by default. References are callable with permission. See our case studies.

Frequently asked questions

Do you work with public and private healthcare networks directly?

Yes, directly with hospital groups and via Poland public procurement routes where they apply. We have experience navigating public healthcare procurement and health-data compliance for connected RTLS systems.

Do you work under Polish public procurement frameworks?

Yes, public and private routes in Poland.

How does the Labour Code affect staff tracking in Poland?

Employee monitoring has to be written into the work regulations or a collective agreement before it starts, with the purpose, scope and method set out, and workers told in advance. Asset-only tracking is a much lighter case. We separate the two in stage 1 so the asset programme is not held up by the people question.

Can you support Polish public-sector procurement?

Yes. We guide on requirements, evaluation criteria and supplier scoring for tenders run through the Platforma e-Zamówienia under the Prawo zamówień publicznych. We can sit on the buying side without a conflict.

How do you handle CE marking and radio compliance?

RTLS and RFID hardware sold into Poland must carry CE marking under the EU Radio Equipment Directive, and readers must stay inside the ETSI power and duty-cycle limits for the band. We verify both during supplier evaluation in stage 1, because a reader configured for a non-EU power table will pass a demo and fail an audit.
