Are you really vendor-neutral?

Yes. We do not sell hardware or a software platform of our own, and we take no resale commissions, so our technology and vendor recommendations serve your outcome rather than a product we need to move.

Do you work outside the UK?

We are UK-based and work across Europe and internationally, delivering in English, German and French. Engagements can be remote or on-site depending on the work.

What does a consulting engagement include?

Typically discovery and requirements, vendor-neutral technology selection, vendor evaluation and RFP support, ROI and business case, solution architecture, and an implementation roadmap. We scope each engagement to where you are.

Can you help after the decision is made?

Yes. We work across the full lifecycle - we can also deploy, integrate, and operate the system, so you can keep one independent team from business case through to live operation.

How do we get started?

Honeywell International (NASDAQ: HON) is a US-listed industrial conglomerate.

The relevant divisions for RTLS / RFID are Honeywell Productivity Solutions and Services (mobile computing, scanners, RFID readers and printers including the Honeywell IH40 and IH45 RFID readers,

and the CT47 and CK65 mobile computers) and Honeywell Industrial Automation (broader OT including process control and asset management).

Where they're strongest

Honeywell's strength is industrial credibility and aerospace MRO depth. Their integration with industrial automation stacks (Experion, Forge) gives them an enterprise-scale story that Zebra and Impinj cannot match.

For aerospace tool control, FOD prevention and large-scale industrial deployments where the buyer also runs Honeywell process automation, they have structural advantages. Strong global services network.

Where they're not the right answer

Usually Zebra for retail item-level. Honeywell competes but the channel depth and existing retailer relationships favour Zebra. For industrial and aerospace, the calculus flips.

How does Honeywell Industrial Automation integrate with RTLS?

Honeywell Experion and Forge platforms expose interfaces for location data ingestion via OPC UA and REST APIs. Integration is non-trivial but well-supported. We design the architecture jointly with your Honeywell automation team.

Is Honeywell Productivity Solutions the same company as Honeywell Industrial Automation?
