Managed RTLS services — keep the locating estate honest after go-live.
Managed RTLS services and locating system support — protect accuracy after go-live with health monitoring, exceptions and vendor accountability. No platform lock-in.
We monitor health and accuracy, run preventive maintenance, tune the system over time, and can operate it day to day on your behalf. You keep the hardware, the platform, and the data; we add the expertise layer that makes them pay off.
Managed services fail when “uptime” is green and the business KPI is ignored.
KPI in the contract
Muster time, miss-reads, or search minutes — not only gateway availability.
Change windows
Firmware and map changes need OT-friendly windows. Surprise updates destroy trust.
Exit hygiene
Credentials, diagrams and spares lists stay yours. Demand an exit pack from day one.
Reactive RTLS management is the expensive option.
Waiting for users to report a problem costs far more than preventing it. These are the four failure patterns we see in deployments left to look after themselves.
Accuracy drifts silently
Facility changes, anchor drift, and an evolving RF environment quietly erode accuracy until users notice and stop trusting the system. By then the trust is hard to win back.
Unplanned infrastructure failures
Anchor faults, network issues, and tag-battery depletion discovered reactively turn into operational disruption — on the day you can least afford it.
Thin internal expertise
IT and operations teams rarely have the specialist location-systems knowledge — or the spare time — to optimise, troubleshoot, and maintain RTLS effectively alongside the day job.
ROI plateaus
Without continuous performance analysis you never reach the full return the business case promised. The system works, but it never gets better — or it slowly gets worse.
Six workstreams that keep the system at peak.
Comprehensive monitoring, maintenance, optimisation, and operation — scaled to the level of cover you need.
Always watching the whole system
End-to-end visibility across anchors, tags, and integrations. Continuous accuracy and uptime tracking, early detection of hardware, network, and data-flow issues, real-time battery and lifecycle insight, and automated alerts on any performance deviation.
Fix it before it bites
Scheduled upkeep across anchors, tags, and network components — calibration, firmware and update cycles, planned replacements, integration-stability reviews, and backup and failover readiness. Performed or coordinated with your vendors.
Better, not just maintained
Regular analysis of performance data, accuracy improvements through system tuning, zone and geofence refinement, capacity and scalability planning, and the identification of new use cases that extend the value of what you already own.
We can run it for you
Optional full day-to-day operation of the deployment, plus direct access to specialists for fast triage and troubleshooting, configuration and workflow changes, integration updates, and coordination with hardware vendors when a swap is needed.
Proof the system is paying off
Monthly and quarterly visibility into accuracy, uptime, and system health; documented maintenance and optimisation activity; and ROI tracking for cost savings and operational gains — written for both technical and management audiences.
Audit-ready, always
Maintained audit trails and change records, validation documentation for regulated environments, security updates and system hardening, privacy-aligned data handling, and hands-on support for audit preparation and reviews.
Three levels of cover. Pick your risk tolerance.
Flexible service levels matched to how critical the system is and how much you want to keep in-house. Every level is vendor-neutral and covers your full deployment.

- Email advisory support, 48-hour response
- Monthly performance & uptime report
Professional
Proactive optimisation for mission-critical systems.
- Everything in Essential
- Continuous monitoring with automated alerts

- Integration-health monitoring
- Priority phone & email support, 8-hour response
- Quarterly business review with recommendations
Enterprise
Full-service operation with the system run for you.
- Everything in Professional
- Day-to-day operation of the deployment
- Dedicated operations lead
- 24/7 priority support, 2-hour response
- Compliance documentation & audit support
- Custom SLA & performance commitments
The independent team that can also run it.
Genuinely vendor-neutral
We have no hardware or platform to sell, so every decision — tune, replace, renegotiate — serves your outcome, not a product roadmap.
Full lifecycle
Advise, deploy, integrate, operate. We can pick the system up at any stage and take it all the way to steady-state performance — or run it indefinitely.
Specialist expertise
Deep, hands-on RTLS, RFID, and IoT knowledge across manufacturing, logistics, healthcare, and more — applied to your live deployment every month.
How SI managed care and LaaS differ from independent managed care.
SI managed tiers (often Essential / Professional / Enterprise) monitor anchors, tags, accuracy drift, integrations, and offer 48-hour to 2-hour response bands. Valuable when the SI also built the system — and when you accept them as the single throat.
Location-as-a-Service bundles hardware + run. Predictable cost; exit and multi-vendor governance are harder.
Independent managed care (TRACIO) assumes you may keep multiple OEMs. We watch business KPIs and RF health, run preventive maintenance windows that OT will accept, and hold each vendor to their SLA on your behalf. Credentials, maps, and exit packs stay yours. We do not need to sell you replacement anchors to stay relevant.
If a competitor’s managed page and ours look similar on paper, compare incentives — not the bullet list. Detail: advisor vs integrator.
Managed locating care vs vendor support contracts and NOC outsourcing.
Vendor support contracts measure ticket response and software uptime. Classic NOC/MSP outsourcing measures network availability. Neither owns the business KPI the locating system was bought for — dock read-rate, bed-turn time, tool custody, WIP dwell, cold-chain excursion closure. SI “managed services” often mean break/fix on the kit they installed, with the same commercial bias as the original sale.
What programmes get wrong: celebrating green uptime while accuracy drifted after a layout change, tag batteries aged out, or a firmware push altered timing. Or buying 24/7 monitoring without a monthly accuracy and adoption review that operations will actually attend.
TRACIO managed services keep the locating layer honest after go-live: RF health, accuracy sampling, tag lifecycle, integration watch, and optimisation backlog — without reselling anchors or licences. We can also run what we designed. Levels of cover match risk tolerance, not a product SKU.
Managed RTLS services, answered.
What is included in TRACIO managed RTLS services and locating system support?
Continuous health and accuracy monitoring, preventive maintenance, performance optimisation, vendor and SLA management, ROI and uptime reporting, and compliance support.
At the highest level we also operate the system day to day on your behalf. You keep ownership of the hardware, the platform, and your data.
How is this different from my vendor's support contract?
A vendor support contract covers that vendor's own product. TRACIO is independent and vendor-neutral, so we look after the whole deployment end to end —
multiple vendors, the integrations, the RF environment, and the business outcomes — and we hold each vendor to their SLA on your behalf.
Can you actually operate our system, or only advise?
Both. TRACIO works across the full lifecycle — advise, deploy, integrate, and operate.
You can engage us for light-touch assurance, for proactive optimisation, or for full day-to-day operation of the deployed system, including monitoring, maintenance coordination, and change management.
Which technologies and vendors do you support?
Any of them. We are hardware- and platform-agnostic and work across UWB, BLE, Wi-Fi, passive and Passive RFID, GPS/GNSS, and hybrid stacks, regardless of which vendor supplied the kit. We have no platform of our own to push.
What response times and reporting do we get?
Response times and cadence are set by the service level you choose, from scheduled reviews with monthly reporting up to continuous monitoring with priority response and a custom SLA.
Every level includes documented accuracy, uptime, and ROI reporting for both technical and management audiences.
When should we buy managed RTLS services for accuracy after go-live?
Typically once a deployment is live and the business depends on it, but internal teams lack the specialist time or expertise to keep it tuned. It is also common right after a rollout or a recovery, to protect the investment and stop accuracy drifting over time.
Can you help if our facility layout changes frequently?
Yes. Frequent facility change is one of the biggest causes of silent accuracy loss. Managed services include re-surveys, anchor and zone re-tuning, and geofence refinement so the system keeps pace with the physical environment.
